Action Abroad

Are you interested in what happens in other countries, in the developing world?
Would you like to meet new people who are interested in similar things to you?
Have you thought about going abroad to do a short-term project, with a group of friends?
Have you been abroad and would like to share your experiences, or compare notes?

Aims of Action Abroad

Encourage people to get together and show love for those overseas, especially those in greatest need
Provide an opportunity to get involved on an ad-hoc basis or as part of an on-going project
Initiate a range of events or projects, from presentations on overseas development to organising a team to go overseas for 2-3 weeks to support a project in a developing country
Provide opportunities to involve friends and family in the church community
Create a network which can support and pray for those embarking on short term mission or overseas projects - from initial thoughts to return to Edinburgh
