Thank you for your interest in the music group. This page gives some information about the group, whose vision is to lead the congregation into progressively deep encounters with God.
About the Music Group
We are a large group of musicians from different walks of life, committed to encouraging everyone in our church family to engage wholeheartedly with God in sung worship. We aim to use and develop the musical gifts that God has given us to the highest possible standard.
Along with our weekly practices, where we pray together and build on our musical skills, we also attend and arrange various training events to keep us growing in our musical abilities and worship lives. We are a friendly group, aiming to serve and care for one another. We also plan social events, and we have a yearly weekend away for teambuilding, relaxation, and spiritual and musical growth.
How to get involved
The process of exploring whether you may wish to join the group is 2 way, helping both you and us to decide together whether this is the best place for you to serve the church.
Initial interest in the group does not commit you to it, but is rather an opportunity for you to explore whether this is the best place for you to serve, to find out more about us, and for us to find out more about you.
If you are interested in joining the music group, please could tell us a bit about yourself by filling in the information form and returning it to Fiona Poulson at the church office. Fiona will then contact you within a few weeks to get to know you a bit, hear you sing / play and discuss your potential involvement in the team.
