Production Teams
Thank you for your interest in P's & G's Production Teams. This page gives some information about the different roles of the teams, and explains the process of joining. The Production Teams are committed to ensuring that the visual and audible aspects of our Sunday worship run clearly and smoothly. They serve and work with the speaker, service leader and musicians to help everyone in the church family to engage wholeheartedly with God. The teams serve predominantly on a Sunday but from time to time there are other meetings and events where their skills may be needed.
Sound Team
This team consists of sound operators, who run the sound desk, and assistant sound operators, who support the sound operator.
Presentation Team
Runs the presentation software consisting of song words, notices and speakers’ notes.
Camera Team
Operates the cameras and mixes the visuals that the congregation sees on the screens.
Lighting Team
Use the lighting desk to ensure that all lighting is used to maximum effect to aid visibility, particularly during creative / seasonal services.
How to Get Involved
Exploring whether you may wish to join one of these teams is a 2 way process, where we decide together whether this is the best place for you to serve the church. Initial interest does not commit you, but is rather an opportunity for you to explore this as an option for serving.
Each team requires members to serve at least once a month, for approx 4 hours in either morning or evening services. Presence at a Music Group practice on a Tuesday evening may also be required approx every 8 weeks for some teams.
If you are interested in joining the Production teams, please could tell us a bit about yourself by filling in the information form and returning it to Fiona Poulson at the church office. Fiona will then contact you within a few weeks.
